Firearm and First Aid Instruction
OUR PROGRAMS
Westchester Frontline Training offers high quality education in the New York Tri-State area. We offer certification credentialing for healthcare workers and first responders, as well as emergency preparedness classes for civilians.
AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ACLS/PALS
ACLS/PALS is geared towards healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies or personnel in emergency response. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Initial and Recertification available.
STOP THE BLEED
The STOP THE BLEED® Course is a class created by the American College of Surgeons and taught around the country by qualified instructors. This in-person, hands-on class teaches the basics of identifying and treating life-threatening bleeding using tourniquets, wound packing and pressure dressings.
CPR/FIRST AID
The purpose of this course is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. American Heart Association Initial and Renewed Certification available.
NRA BASIC PISTOL/CCW
The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course, the students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, and of course gun safety. We also will provide necessary paperwork and assistance in order to apply for a New York State Pistol Permit.
For current pistol permit holders, we offer an extended class which includes all initial safety modules and additional range day consisting of pistol shooting fundamentals and carry methods. Our class satisfies Westchester County's 16+2 requirements for a Full Carry license.

Welcome to Westchester Frontline Training! My name is Michael Guarino, founder and lead instructor. I have been an EMT/Paramedic in the New York Tri-State area for the past ten years. Additionally, I am an avid outdoorsman and recreational shooter. Because of my passion for emergency preparedness and helping others, it is my mission to provide high quality training you need to be prepared. Offering Firearm Safety and Certification courses, as well as Emergency Medical Training, my classes will instill the knowledge and confidence needed for both professionals and civilians.
